his photograph was taken in Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, D.C. The ghost effect was achieved via long exposure. Below are other ghostly images--some apparently genuine and some proven fakes. The known background of each image accompanies the full photo, as does my opinion of the image. I am not a photographic "expert," but I have been involved in parapsychological studies for two decades and have experience assisting professional photographers. My opinion should be treated as that of an educated layman who is always willing to consider new evidence that contradicts my views. I think of myself as neither a believer or a skeptic. I'm just looking for the truth about life after death, the most fascinating unsolved mystery of all.
If anyone would like to contribute a paranormal image, or ask my opinion of one, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. However, I would prefer that you not send me "orb" photos unless they are extraordinary. (See the Cathedral Orb, to be added shortly.) It is my opinion that 99.9 percent of "orb" photos are camera artifacts. Also, please note that by sending me a photo you are not assigning me copyright, but you are giving me permission to use the photo on this site, if I choose.
I welcome the addition of your comments and suggestions in the guestbook, at the end of this page.
